Custom Printed Coasters – Material Specifications
Looking for tea coasters online? Our tea coasters are made out of MDF (medium-density fibreboard) which is a sort of wood pressed into thin sheets. This MDF sheet is 3 mm thick. It is also waterproof and will not spoil even if any beverage spills on it. We use our laser cutters to create tea coaster ‘blanks.’ These 4-inch blanks are square-shaped with rounded corners.
Because they are laser cut, these coasters have a very precise finish. Our standard coaster is square with rounded corners; circular coasters can be made on request.
The next step is the print. Your photos or design are printed on vinyl, the print is laminated for protection, and it is then pasted on the blank coaster. The laminated print resists spills and scratches, and the MDF underneath is waterproof.

Yes. Online payments are accepted at Orchid Digitals. In fact we try to finish the entire job online. All you need to do is mail us your artwork/design file along with the requisite dimensions, material specifications, copies needed, etc.
After evaluating/understanding your project requirement we send across an estimate for the same. This estimate (in the form of a Proforma Invoice) will also contain an online paylink encoded in a QR code.
