Nothing we make comes off a shelf. Every wall print, glass film and sign is printed and cut to your design, your sizes and your taste, and that is where we are strongest. NABH Signage for Hospitals
Hospitals working towards NABH accreditation, or keeping it, need a long list of signs and boards: patient rights and responsibilities, the services on offer and their charges, department and direction signs, fire exits, hazard and restricted-area signs, and the hospital’s mission and quality policy. Orchid Digitals provides the NABH signage required for hospitals: your hospital’s quality team or agency gives us the design and the wording, in English, Marathi, Hindi or all three, and we print and fabricate every board.
We don’t decide what your NABH boards must say; your quality team does. We make sure they are made well: straight, sharp, easy to read and easy to clean.

Signs You Can Wipe Down Every Day
Hospitals clean every surface, every day, with disinfectant. Almost everything we make takes it in its stride:
- Acrylic signs, name plates and logo letters wipe clean in seconds.
- Laminated wall prints and sunboard prints can be wiped down like any wall.
- LED sign boards are weatherproof, and their acrylic faces can be cleaned.
- ACP and WPC boards can even be washed down with water without harm.
The exceptions are canvas prints and cloth prints: they can’t take wet wiping. Use them as decor in the reception and waiting areas, away from rooms where patients are treated and disinfectant is used.
Installing in a Running Hospital
A hospital never closes, so we plan the work around your patients:
- Our project manager agrees a time slot with your hospital authorities, and we finish in that slot.
- We work in the daytime and never on Sundays, in areas the hospital clears for us and keeps away from patients and visitors.
- Our fitters know they are in a hospital: they work quietly and keep dust and mess to a minimum.
- Signs are built, wired and checked in our workshop and sent in ready-to-fit parts, so the time on site is short.
- Pasting glass films and wallpapers makes no noise at all; drilling for logo boards, frames and signs does, so we do it in the slot you give us.

When a hospital builds a new wing or a car park, the construction barricade can stand at the gate for months. Instead of a bare sheet-metal wall, it can carry lit boards that tell patients what is coming and where to go in the meantime. Here is what we proposed for Jehangir Hospital’s barricades. How a Hospital or Clinic Job Works
- Send us your design files. Your hospital’s design team, your agency or your designer sends the artwork and the wording, in every language you need. We check every file and prepare it for print. We don’t design signs ourselves; if you need a designer, see the Pune designers we recommend.
- Small jobs: send the sizes and a photo. For a name board, a reception logo or a few glass panels, send the sizes with a photo of each spot on WhatsApp (+91 98232 39733) or at [email protected]. We email you the price.
- Bigger jobs: we visit and measure. For a whole clinic or hospital, our team comes over, measures and photographs each spot. The site visit is a paid service, but the fee comes back to you in your bill if you go ahead with us.
- You get a proposal item by item. Every sign with its size, material and price, so you can choose and stay within your budget.
- Payment, then production. Once you approve the proof and the payment is in, we print, cut and fabricate in our Shaniwar Peth workshop. Prints and films typically take 2 to 3 days; signs and logo boards typically 1 to 15 days.
- We install in your slot. In Pune our own team fits everything at the time your hospital agrees. Outside Pune we ship it ready to fit, with pasting guidance for films and wall prints.
- GST invoice and warranty. Every job comes with a GST invoice. Fabricated signs carry a 6-month warranty from installation, and if a print has a fault on our side, tell us within 15 days and we remake it.

What We Do, and What We Leave to Others
We are printers and sign makers. We make every sign, print, film and board from the designs you send, and our team installs them in Pune. A few things stay with your hospital’s own team or your interior contractor:
- Designing the signs and planning the sign scheme. Your design team or agency decides what goes where and what each sign says, including NABH boards.
- Electrical work. For a lit sign, your electrician brings a power point to the spot and we connect the sign.
- Civil and interior work. Painting, false ceilings, furniture and flooring stay with your interior contractor.
- Municipal permission for boards facing the street and sky signs is the building owner’s responsibility; our proposal gives the sizes and specifications you need for the application.

In Maharashtra, name boards of shops and establishments generally have to show the name in Marathi, in Devanagari script, with the Marathi letters no smaller than any other language. We make bilingual boards all the time; following the rule is the owner's responsibility.
Prints and glass films typically take 2 to 3 days, and signs and logo boards typically 1 to 15 days, after you approve the proof and pay. Installation is on top, at a time we fix with you. These are typical times, not promised dates; if you are opening on a fixed day, tell us before you order.
