Orchid Digitals is in Pune’s city centre, near Omkareshwar Chowk in Shaniwar Peth. Walk in to our front desk on the ground floor: you can see and touch our sign samples, turn through our media sample panels and our paper album, and look into the machine room where your prints are made. If you’re new to printing or signage, or not sure what you need, come and talk to us. Please call before you visit.

Look for the gold Orchid letters, in English and Marathi, opposite Raj Restaurant on Omkareshwar Path, a short walk from Omkareshwar Chowk. We are Shops 1, 2 and 3 on the ground floor. We keep a very clean shop, so please remove your shoes at the door.
Getting Here and Parking
Parking
- You can park your two-wheeler inside our gate.
- There is a small space for a car inside the gate too, but other clients have usually taken it.
- Cars can park on Bal Gandharva Bridge, about 50 metres from our shop, or along River Road, also a short walk away.

A short walk from our door to the front desk, the sample panels and paper album, the machine room and finishing room on the ground floor, then upstairs to our sign workshop, the CNC router and the laser cutter at work.
At the Front Desk
Our front desk is where you walk in, give us your job, check your file and collect your prints.
- Two screens at every terminal. One faces our team and one faces you, so you can follow your file as we set it up, without leaning over the counter.
- Our services, in gold. The front of the desk carries the names of our products and services, laser-cut from gold and rose-gold acrylic.
- An edge-lit acrylic panel. Behind the desk, our services are drawn as icons with no words: printers, a CNC machine, an ambulance, exhibition stands and more, etched into clear acrylic and lit from the edge. See our edge-lit acrylic boards.
- A wall of sign samples. Lit and non-lit boards, side by side, so you can compare them before you choose. See every type of sign board we make.
- Accounts. Suresh Kaka at the accounts desk looks after invoices, payments and pickups.

A print looks different in real life than on a screen. Next to the front desk is a stand of swing panels, each one a real print on a different media. Turn them at your own pace and compare before you decide:

A few panels show finishes we no longer offer, such as Spot UV and a print on rexine with a leather texture; ask us and we’ll show you what we suggest instead.
Choose Your Paper From Our Sample Album
For flyers, cards, invitations, labels and certificates, the paper decides how a print looks and feels in the hand. Our red sample album has a real print on every paper and sticker we stock, with a note on what each suits best. Flip through it at the desk:
- Papers: 100 GSM maplitho (uncoated, you can write on it), 170 GSM, 250 and 300 GSM coated art card, 300 GSM ivory, NT non-tearable 200 micron, and eco-friendly brown kraft paper. Our paper guide explains which to choose.
- Stickers: mirrorcote paper stickers, transparent stickers, NT non-tearable stickers, and gold, silver and rainbow metallic stickers. The rainbow metallic sticker shines like a holographic sticker, but it is not a security sticker.
- Metallic papers: pearl, gold and silver.
- Textured papers: linen cloth, leather, cream/buff, white canvas, cream canvas, cloud/hammer, stucco, brick and rendezvous. See textured paper prints.

Our Machine Room
All our machines are here at the shop. From the front counter you can look into the machine room through the glass. What each machine makes for you:
- Mimaki UCJV300 (UV, with white and clear ink, and cutting): kiss-cut stickers, white-ink glass film, embossed stickers, cast and polymeric vinyl.
- Mimaki JV300 (eco-solvent): cloth banners, vinyl, ACP prints, wallpapers, glass films, exhibition and scientific posters.
- Mimaki CJV200 (eco-solvent, print and cut): laminated vinyl stickers, glow-in-the-dark and reflective prints, floor graphics and flags.
- Konica Minolta digital press: digital colour prints, flyers, brochures, books, posters, paper and plastic stickers, calendars.
- Intec SC5000 digital sheet cutter: kiss-cut and die-cut sticker sheets and labels.
- 3D printer: shells for small lit letters, up to about 12 inches, made as part of a sign (not a general 3D printing service).
- Finishing room: lamination, and mounting prints on sunboard and ACP.

Upstairs: Our Sign Workshop
The first floor is our back office and sign workshop, open to our team only. For a longer talk about a sign or a project, we’ll take you up to our meeting room. Here is what’s up there:
- The sign sample wall. Every piece on it shows a different way to build a sign: open-dot and crystal LEDs, metal letters, back-glow letters, lit acrylic letters, edge-lit panels and neon-style lettering.
- CNC router: cuts ACP, acrylic and wood for 3D glow signs, logo and name boards and cut-out letters.
- Laser cutter and engraver: acrylic letters, name plates, badges, edge-lit panels and stencils.
- The meeting room, where we go through sign proposals with you.
- Our journey on the wall: a lit timeline of the people and moments behind Orchid.
Our laser and CNC machines make only the products we sell, from our own materials; we don’t cut material you bring in.
What to Bring
- Your artwork on a pen drive: PDF, AI or CDR files work best. Can’t bring it? Email it to [email protected] before you come.
- For a sign board: the size, and a photo of the wall or site where it will go.
- For prints and stickers: the size and the quantity you need.
- Walk-in digital colour prints are usually ready in about 30-40 minutes while you wait.
We don’t design artwork, but we can recommend designers in Pune.
Before You Come
- Holidays: besides Sundays, we are closed on national holidays and during Ganesh Chaturthi. We don’t take visits after 6:00 PM.
- Please call before you visit: +91 98232 39793.
- Shoes off, please: we keep a very clean shop, so please remove your shoes at the door.
- Payments: cash or online transfer, including Google Pay. Every job comes with a GST invoice.
- Access: our showroom is on the ground floor with a very small ramp at the entrance; it isn’t wheelchair accessible, but our staff will gladly help. The first floor is for our team only, reached by stairs.
