However, a flimsy handout may be a little too low end if you plan to hand out the same at a five-star location. 

For a more impressive look, we can process the business flyer printing on a thick 250 gsm / 300 gsm card sheet. A thick card sheet is going to give a more premium feel to the customer than a thin 100 gsm handout. 

Further, after your flyer printing job, we can laminate the card sheet. This will give it either a very high gloss or matt finish. Lamination will add to the richness of the flier. Pro-Tip: Key Considerations While Designing Your Business Flier

As stated above, Orchid Digitals does not have an in-house design team. The design for the leaflet has to come either from your end or through a design professional/consultant. We can, however, give our 2 cents on the things to consider while designing your flier:

• Size of the flier. A flyer needs to be of either A5 or A4 in size. For those who are wondering,  A4 is roughly 8*12 inches in size and A5 is half of A4.
  If the flier is larger than A4, you end up creating something like a poster.
  Any smaller than A5 gives you the form factor of a discount or gift coupon.
  We recommend an A5 sized leaflet so as to keep costs low. If the content needs more space, use both sides of the page. Pamphlets generally consist of a single page. Multiple page communications are generally referred to as brochures.
• Don’t put in too much information. Attention spans are shrinking everywhere. Many people skim through content rather than going through it line by line. So limit your flier design to the salient points of your products.
  Be sure to highlight your strengths. Underline the features that differentiate you from the competition.

• Use bright colors and images. This is a no-brainer. • Make all the details available. Make sure that your contact details, phone number, address, etc. are clearly stated in a large font. We’ve seen many pamphlet designs in which these important elements have been crammed in the last half inch as an afterthought. This may make it difficult for the buyer to find and process this information, shooing away a strong prospect.
• Add a gift coupon to your leaflet. Discounts always sweeten the deal and entice customers to step into your store. A discount coupon could be printed separately and stapled to the flyer. Alternatively, it could be part of the flyer design wherein the customer clips out the same from the larger print. Also, the flyer itself can work as the discount coupon – something like “Walk into our store and show this leaflet to avail attractive discounts!’’
