The owner of Cherry Tomato, a café full of college students, had an artist draw cartoons of people enjoying her food. We blew them up to 10 ft x 5 ft, printed them on laminated wallpaper and pasted them on her walls.
Cherry Tomato is a fun-themed café in Pune whose regulars are young college students. Its owner commissioned an artist to draw line drawings, as cartoons, of people enjoying the food in her café, and wanted them larger than life on her walls. The prints had to look good and last for years in a crowded café.
The artist’s drawings came to us as CorelDRAW files. We enlarged each one to wall size, 10 ft wide and 5 ft high.
We printed them on wallpaper vinyl on our eco-solvent printer and added a top coat of lamination, so the prints are protected from dust, water, scratches and the everyday wear of a busy café, and can be wiped clean.
Our team installed every print on site, so the drawings run straight across the walls above the tables.
