The building of Choice Book Stall, a book and stationery shop at Appa Balwant Chowk in Budhwar Peth since 1970, was being rebuilt. We clad the frontage in white ACP, then fixed the name in Marathi and English as orange 3D acrylic letters with LEDs inside, with the shop’s logo between them and a matching board for the side entrance.

Choice Book Stall sells books, notebooks and stationery at Appa Balwant Chowk, Pune’s best-known book market, in the heart of the old city. The whole building was being revamped, and the shop front needed a new sign to match. We sent a proposal with the layout, sizes, materials and a day and night render on a photo of the site.
First the frontage got white ACP panelling.
On it we fixed the shop’s name in Marathi and English as 3D letters: vibrant orange acrylic faces with aluminium-profile sides, each letter 2.5 inches deep, with hundreds of LEDs inside so the whole name glows.
The Choice logo is printed on a white acrylic sheet and sits in the centre, between the Marathi and the English name.
The side entrance to the store got its own smaller board in the same acrylic and LEDs, reading “Wholesale & Retail Stationery Mall, since 1970”.
