The whole look of a new maternity hospital in Ahmedabad came off our printers in Pune: three lift doors, a corridor wall, framed wall prints, sunboard panels for the wooden niches and the hospital’s mark on frosted film for every glass door. A design agency supplied the artwork and installed it in Ahmedabad.
Six stops, each with a note on the material we printed it on. All photos were taken at the hospital in Ahmedabad after the agency installed the prints.

Three lift doors, three designs, one line: “A Lift to New Beginnings”. Each door is wrapped in our smooth laminated vinyl with a sticker back, printed in one piece per door leaf.
The lamination guards against scratches and wipes clean with a damp cloth, which matters on a door that every visitor touches.

The glass doors to the rooms carry the hospital’s pink and teal mark, printed on frosted film. From the corridor the room is private; inside, daylight still comes through.

The waiting-area furniture has niches built into it. Each holds a 5 mm laminated sunboard print: light, stiff and flat, so it sits neatly inside the wooden frame without bowing.

The long passage got a single full-width wall print in the same laminated vinyl, running under the two air conditioners from one end to the other.

Next to the window in the children’s area, a wall print inside a wooden frame tracks a baby’s first year, from frequent feeding and lots of sleep to the 12-month milestones.

More framed wall prints carry the hospital’s messages: support for women at every life stage, its surgical care and its full list of services in Gujarati and English.
A design agency was finishing the interiors of a new maternity hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The artwork was ready: lift doors that read “A Lift to New Beginnings”, a wall of mothers and babies for the corridor, framed panels for the waiting areas and the paediatric corner, posters for the wooden niches in the furniture, and the hospital’s mark for the glass doors. They needed it all printed on the right material for each surface.
We matched each surface to a material. Lift doors, the corridor wall and the framed wall prints are our smooth laminated vinyl with a sticker back. The lamination guards the print against scratches and lets the staff wipe it clean.
The glass doors to the rooms carry the hospital’s mark printed on frosted film: patients get privacy, and daylight still comes through.
The niches in the wooden furniture hold 5 mm laminated sunboard prints, rigid and flat, so they sit neatly in the frame.
Every piece was printed in our shop in Pune and handed over to the agency. They shipped it to Ahmedabad and installed it there with their own team: the installation is theirs, the printing is ours.
