A paper poster curls, tears and needs a frame. A sunboard print doesn't. We print your image in high resolution on vinyl and mount it on a smooth, lightweight PVC foam sheet, so it stays flat and rigid on the wall and is easy to handle.
That simple construction is why it is our most popular poster panel. Sunboard is also called foam sheet, foam board or PVC sheet, and it comes in two thicknesses: 3 mm for posters fixed on a wall, and 5 mm when the print has to stand on its own or be held in the hand.

Choose the thickness
Both thicknesses carry the same print. The difference is how stiff the board is, which decides where it can go.

Our most popular and economical choice, for prints that are fixed to something: screwed or nailed to a wall, or taped onto glass or a smooth wall. It is light enough for double-sided tape. On its own, for example on an easel, a 3 mm board can bend in the middle, so choose 5 mm for that.

A stiffer, sturdier board that doesn't dent as easily and feels solid in the hand. Choose it when the print must stand up by itself, sit on an easel, or be held, like a menu card that should stay straight instead of wilting.

How it is made
A sunboard print has a simple build. The base is a white PVC foam sheet, the sunboard. On it we mount your image, printed in high resolution on 100-micron vinyl. On top, if you choose it, goes a protective lamination film.
We print on wide-format inkjet printers with eco-solvent or UV inks in the CMYK colour gamut, on standard vinyl brands such as Wyte™, LSM™, SGM™, Onyx™ and GCO™. 3M™ and Avery™ vinyl are available at a higher price. The print is mounted on the board with an industrial hydraulic laminator for a smooth, flat finish without bubbles or wrinkles.

Lamination
Lamination is a thin clear film over the printed image. It shields the print from dust, water, scratches and everyday handling, so the poster keeps looking good for longer and can be wiped clean. It adds ₹20 per sq ft on 3 mm and ₹30 per sq ft on 5 mm sunboard.
Choose matte for a soft, non-reflective look that is easy to read under office lights, or glossy for richer colours and a shine that makes photos stand out. Read more about what print lamination does.

Installation
Sunboard is light, so fixing it is simple. On a wall or partition, screw or nail it in place; for a neater look, use mirror-cap screws (stud caps) instead of plain nails, which cover the screw heads with a polished finish.
On glass or a smooth, painted wall, double-sided tape holds it in place without drilling, which works best with the lighter 3 mm board. Tell us where it will go when you order and we'll suggest the right method.

The minimum order is ₹3,000 + GST. Pieces smaller than 4 x 3 ft are welcome: each is billed at its actual size, as long as the whole order reaches ₹3,000 + GST, so you can combine several posters or designs.

Send print-ready artwork at the final size: PDF, CorelDRAW or Illustrator files are best, with images at least 100 DPI at actual size (300 DPI is best). Email the original file; WhatsApp compresses images. We check the file and send a proof before printing.
