The Royal Connaught Boat Club wanted its name on its existing front wall on Boat Club Road, with one condition: the letters had to sit on top of the wall as if standing on their own, with no backing behind them.
We made each letter as a sturdy aluminium channel letter with a laser-cut acrylic face, packed with LEDs so the sign glows at night. The letters are fixed to a metal frame that is invisible from the front but holds them firmly.
Below the name, mirror-gold acrylic icons mark the club’s sports facilities. At the gate, the club’s name is cut in black acrylic beside its crest in white acrylic with a red print. All of it was made by us.
