For V3 Tyres, a Vijay Group tyre showroom in Wanowrie, Pune, we made a black pylon that stands at the showroom gate: the tyre logo lit on top, and a lit red strip for every service inside.

A tyre showroom sells far more than tyres. V3 Tyres wanted people passing on the road, by day and at night, to see everything done inside: 3D alignment, wheel balancing, nitrogen, alloy wheels, batteries and accessories.
It started with the client’s sketch on paper and a photo of the site. We sent three designs, then round after round of changes: it took more than a month before the final design was approved.
The pylon is about 9 ft 1 in tall and 3 ft wide: a black body about 8 ft tall with the tyre logo rising above it. The logo is laser-cut acrylic with LEDs inside. The V3 Tyres name and the six service strips are lit too, each strip a hollow acrylic box with a red printed face and LED modules inside.
Every lit part was switched on and checked in our office before it went on the pylon’s steel frame, which stands on a concrete footing at the showroom gate.
Before anything was made, our proposal showed the layout, the dimensions, the materials and day and night views of the pylon on a photo of the site, so the client could see it standing there first. Once a design is final, making and installing a pylon typically takes a week to 10 days.
