This nameplate is crafted from a lightweight plastic sheet that is just 1.5 mm thick. This engineering-grade sheet is also known as ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) sheet. Think of this as a material with two distinct skins or layers:
The Top Layer: The front face of our nameplate has a micro-thin metallic foil. This foil is available in a variety of metallic finishes like brushed Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper.
Core Layer: The layer beneath adds strength, thickness, and rigidity to our nameplate, and it is made from a solid, high-density, impact-resistant jet-black polymer.
Laser Etching Your Name on ABS Metallic Sheets:

Laser-Cut Mirror-Gold Acrylic Plates (Multi-Layered)
Our second variant is built for spaces where the name plate itself should make an impression: doctors’ cabins, reception desks, boardrooms and hospital corridors.
These plates are not etched. They are made in layers from thick acrylic sheet. Every letter, word and icon is laser-cut from mirror-finish gold acrylic and pasted, one piece at a time, onto a white acrylic base. The gold sits raised above the white, so the plate catches the light from every angle.
The base: a white acrylic sheet that gives the plate its clean, glossy face.
The letters and icons: laser-cut from mirror-finish gold acrylic and pasted on one by one, in English, Marathi or both.
The gold edge: a thin strip of gold mirror acrylic, cut separately and fixed along the edge of the base. It frames the plate and makes the letters inside stand out.

Made for Jehangir Hospital, Pune
Jehangir Hospital’s earlier name plates were vinyl and sunboard prints: clear, but plain. They wanted signs that look as good as the hospital itself.
We made bilingual mirror-gold plates for doctors’ cabins, departments, washrooms and restricted areas, most of them 6 x 18 inches, plus free-standing plates for the reception desk that match the plates on the doors behind it. Each plate went up with double-sided tape, with no holes drilled.

Choose mirror-gold acrylic plates when the plate is a feature: a reception, a doctor’s cabin, a boardroom door. What Kind of Files / Artwork Are Required for Creating Personalised Metallic Finish Name Plates?
When we laser-etch a job on metallic-finish plates, we get the traditional engraved look and feel. Lasers trace out a path on the objects they are fired upon. This path could be in the shape of fonts or line art.
Hence, laser engraving can only reproduce text and line diagrams in a single colour. You cannot use engraving methods to reproduce images, colour photos or bitmaps.
That is why, for laser engraving, we need the artwork in vector format. Bitmap files like .jpgs, .tiffs, .gifs, .pngs, etc. will not work. The text has to be typed and laid out in vector software like CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator. Both of these software programs have the ability to export files in .eps format, which we can then use to process the job.

Yes. Our mirror-gold acrylic plates have every letter, word and icon laser-cut from mirror-finish gold acrylic and pasted onto a white acrylic base, with a thin gold mirror acrylic strip along the edges. They are fixed with double-sided tape, so no drilling is needed. See the details above.

For 2D Laser-Etched ABS Plates, simply order a replacement plate of the same dimensions and paste it directly over the existing one.
Avoid rough scouring pads or dry abrasive dusters to prevent fine hairline scratches. Wipe gently with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with plain water or a mild glass cleaner spray.
Production usually takes 3 to 5 working days at our Pune facility after artwork approval and payment, plus courier time. We don’t promise an arrival date.
For our clients in Pune, we provide on-site installation services as well, for orders of ₹10,000 + GST and above. The same will cost extra. But honestly speaking, installing this plate is child's play. There is a sticker on the reverse side. You simply peel it and paste it wherever you require.
The name plates have a two sided film on the back side. This film has a very strong glue enabling you to paste the plate on the door.
You can simply paste the nameplate on any smooth surface. The plate has a sticker back to enable this. If the base surface is rough, you can even drill the plate to the wall.
We can fabricate an etched panel having a maximum size of 2 feet X 4 feet
Your design/logo will be etched using a laser engraver. Hence the artwork needs to be in the form of a vector file.
Two examples of vector-based software are Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator. Their file formats are referred to as .cdr and .ai, respectively. Other vector files like .eps and .svg files will work just as well. Bitmap file formats like .jpg, .tiff, .png .psd do not really help.
Make sure that the file is in a vector format. Also ensure that the fonts within are all converted to curves.
Our minimum order is ₹3,000 plus taxes, for example 10 plates of 4 X 8 inches (₹320 each).
