COVID-19 Related Safety Signs – Detailed Description
COVID-19 changed the way people queue, work and shop. The emergency is over, but many of its habits have stayed: clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, banks and billing counters still ask people to keep their distance in a queue, to wear a mask where needed and to sanitise their hands and tools.
Simple, clear signs still do this job best:
- Remind staff and customers to keep a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) in a queue.
- Ask visitors not to crowd in lifts, lobbies and waiting areas.
- Remind people to wear a mask and to sanitise their hands and tools.
In 2020, Orchid Digitals designed a series of attention-grabbing COVID-19 signs for exactly these needs. Just download the files and print your own signs, or order prints from us. The signs can be printed as vinyl stickers for walls and furniture, as prints for glass partitions, or as floor stickers.
On this page you will find these products for keeping your workplace or store safe and orderly:
Where These Signs Help Today
Queue markers and hygiene reminders are still useful wherever people wait in line or share a space:
- Clinics, hospitals, pathology labs and pharmacies
- Banks, billing counters and ticket windows
- Supermarkets, restaurants and food courts
- Offices, factories and housing societies, especially in the flu season
For a long-lasting queue marker, choose our anti-skid floor graphics. For wall and counter signs, choose laminated sunboard prints, or self-adhesive vinyl prints that paste straight onto walls and furniture.
Free Download of Artwork for Social Distancing Signs
At Orchid Digitals, we designed loud, attention-grabbing workplace signs to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. You can buy prints of these signs from us. Or, as part of our responsibility to society, you can download the high-resolution files for free and print them yourself. Put them up on the notice board of your workplace or paste them on your office walls, as you see fit. If these signs help keep even one person from falling ill, we will consider our effort well rewarded.
The artworks come in two kinds:
- Signs for vertical surfaces, like walls and glass partitions.
- Floor markers that show people where to stand, 2 metres (6 feet) apart.
The signs are available in English and Marathi. The Download button under each sign gives you a quick web copy; the full-resolution files are in the free download folder.

Professionally Printed Coronavirus Warning and Cautionary Signs
We also print the signs above for you, in high resolution, on materials suited to where they go: floor stickers for the floor, and sunboard for walls and counters. Here are the finished products.
Floor Stickers to Mark Standing Spots in a Queue – Enable Social Distancing
People standing in a line tend to wait close to each other. So cash registers, billing counters and ticket windows need stickers on the floor in front of them, at set intervals. The footprint design on these queue stickers shows people exactly where to stand.
Floor graphic prints are made to be walked on. For queues we recommend our long-term anti-skid floor graphics: the print is covered with a 200-micron textured anti-skid lamination that resists scratches, heels and wet mopping, so the stickers stay in place through daily cleaning and disinfection.
Pasting them is simple: clean the floor, spray a little soapy water, place the sticker and smooth it out with a squeegee. They suit smooth floors such as tiles, marble, granite and glazed stone, but not carpets or rough floors.
Sunboard Prints for Coronavirus Precautions
Sunboard is a flat, rigid and very light plastic foam sheet, ideal for office signs. Prints on it look rich and need no framing. Sunboard prints can be fixed on walls, office furniture (the sides of tables, cash counters, etc.) and glass partitions with double-sided tape, or screwed to a wall. We laminate them to protect the print from dust, water and scratches. Our COVID-19 signs on sunboard include:
- Hygiene signs: signs in English and Marathi that ask people to wear masks and to sanitise their tools before and after use.
- Social distancing posters: the words ‘Social Distancing’ on a bright yellow banner, with clipart of a man and a woman standing 2 metres (6 feet) apart, make your message crystal clear.
- More safety signs: we also have many other safety signs for offices, commercial complexes, factories and housing societies. Download those artworks for free as well.

For Power Cuts: Glow-in-the-Dark Exit Signs
Some safety signs must be seen when the lights go out. Our glow-in-the-dark prints soak up light while the lights are on and glow on their own in the dark, with no electricity. That makes them ideal for emergency exits, staircases, fire extinguisher points and evacuation maps.

You get high-resolution prints on materials made for the job: floor stickers with an anti-skid lamination for the floor, and laminated sunboard for walls and counters. Our prints come in two forms:
1. Prints with a sticker back that paste directly on any smooth surface. Floor stickers go on with soapy water and a squeegee.
