We print your artwork on weatherproof polymeric vinyl, laminate it, and mount it on 3 mm aluminium composite panel (ACP): a metal-faced board for road signs, safety signs, factory floors, building fronts and vehicle panels.
What is an ACP print?
For outdoor installations, or anywhere a print takes a beating, we offer a stronger alternative to standard sunboard prints: prints mounted on aluminium composite panel (ACP). Sunboard works well for most indoor uses, but it is a plastic foam board. ACP panels are much stronger and last far longer in tough conditions.
ACP is a material builders and furniture makers already trust. Used as the base for a printed panel, it gives you a sign that stays flat and rigid, doesn't rust, and resists dents and knocks far better than foam board.

Choose the right board

How it's built
An ACP sheet is made of two thin aluminium skins bonded to a thick, rigid polyethylene (plastic) core. The core gives the panel its stiffness and the aluminium skins give it a durable, metal face that doesn't rust.
We print your artwork at high resolution on weatherproof polymeric vinyl and mount it on the 3 mm panel on our industrial hydraulic laminator, so it goes on smooth, bubble-free and wrinkle-free. A protective top coat of lamination then shields the image from dust, water, scratches and everyday wear.

Weatherproof graphics
A printed foam board cracks or breaks under pressure; an ACP print handles rough, exposed locations far better. For the graphic we use weatherproof polymeric vinyl, rated for outdoor temperatures from about −20°C to +90°C, with outdoor-rated eco-solvent or UV inks and a protective overlaminate, all included in the price.
For the harshest sites, such as road signboards facing years of sun and monsoon, or panels on curved surfaces, we can use cast vinyl or 3M™ media instead, at a higher price, quoted per job.

We use 3 mm ACP for signs that face heavy daily use and constant exposure to the elements: road direction boards, safety signs in industrial areas and commercial complexes, and panels on factory shop floors where handling is rough and foot traffic is high.

Visible day and night
Where a sign must be seen at night or in fog, we print on night-reflective vinyl instead. Reflective film sends vehicle headlight straight back to the driver, so the sign lights up after dark without electricity. Mounted on ACP, it becomes a sturdy road or gate sign that is readable day and night. The video shows one being made.

Pricing
ACP prints cost ₹240 per square foot + 18% GST, including the polymeric vinyl print, lamination and the 3 mm panel. Measure each sign in feet, round each side up to the next whole foot, and multiply: an 18 x 12 in sign is billed as 2 x 1 ft = 2 sq ft = ₹480.
There is no minimum size per sign, but the order must add up to at least ₹3,000 + GST, so combine several signs or choose a larger one. One panel can be up to 8 x 4 ft; bigger signs are made from several panels joined on a frame and quoted per job.

Installation
ACP prints are heavier and stronger than 3 or 5 mm sunboard, so they are fixed firmly in place rather than taped:

Send your artwork at the final size and in the highest resolution you have. For signs read from a distance, keep the text large and the contrast high. We check every file before printing.
