The glass panels used as cabin partitions in modern offices are an excellent canvas for your brand. This "glass real estate" can carry your company logo, your products, a mission statement or a bold abstract pattern that lifts the look of the whole workspace.
Transforming it is simple: send us your design, and we print it in full colour on an opaque white film with a self-adhesive back. Once it is pasted on your glass panels, the space looks finished, branded and professional straight away.

Unlike our transparent films, opaque film is solid white vinyl. Nothing behind it can be seen, so the same print that decorates your partition also keeps meetings and work behind it private.

The film
Your job is printed on white, opaque self-adhesive vinyl with a smooth top coat made for high-resolution printing. The film is about 100 microns thick with a strong, removable adhesive, on a release liner of about the same thickness: peel off the liner and paste the print on the glass. Protective top coat
We don't supply a bare print on an opaque sticker. Every opaque glass film print gets a clear protective lamination bonded over the whole surface on our hydraulic laminator, which keeps it smooth and free of bubbles and creases. Light, sun and glare
Because the film is fully opaque, it doesn't only block the line of sight: it also keeps direct sunlight and glare out. On a sunny window, the room behind it stays cooler and less bright, which many offices and shops welcome in the Indian summer.
The same property is its one limitation, so choose the right film for the space:
Opaque film darkens the space behind it. For privacy with daylight, choose frosted glass film prints, which blur the view but let light through.
If the activity inside should stay visible, choose transparent or white ink glass film prints.
One-way vision film shows a graphic outside while people inside can still look out.
Opaque film is the one: full colour, no see-through, sharp detail.
Graphics on both sides
A single opaque print shows your graphic on one side of the glass; from the other side it looks like a plain white panel. If both sides of a partition should carry artwork, we print a second film and paste it on the other face of the glass.
The same design or a different one on each face, for example your logo facing the lobby and a pattern facing the cabin.
The second print is billed like the first, at ₹70 per sq ft + GST: a 5 x 9 ft panel on both sides is 90 sq ft = ₹6,300 + GST.
How it's printed
Office partitions are often 8 to 10 feet high from floor to ceiling, and as wide as the room they close off, so they need large graphics. We stock opaque film in rolls 3, 4 and 5 feet wide, and the rolls are hundreds of metres long, so your print can be any length.
Your artwork is printed on our industrial wide-format inkjet printers at very high resolution with vivid colour. We use only genuine, branded Mimaki eco-solvent or UV inks, which keep their colour for years instead of fading like cheap duplicate inks. The standard film is made for glass indoors. For building facades and other glass exposed to rain and direct weather, we print on polymeric or cast vinyl on request, quoted per job.
Installation
Pasting a glass film print is straightforward. The soapy water lets you slide the film into position before it bonds, for a bubble-free, perfectly aligned finish. Watch the video, then follow these steps:

Spray soapy water, clean the glass thoroughly, and wipe off any remaining dust with a squeegee or a clean cloth.

Spray the clean glass with soapy water once more.

Place the print, printed side down, on the wet glass so the printed side becomes slightly damp.

Holding the print in place, peel off the release liner to expose the adhesive, and spray the adhesive side generously with soapy water.

Turn the print over and start from one corner or edge, smoothing the film onto the glass with a squeegee or cloth; the soapy water lets you reposition it until it is perfectly aligned.

Press out any air bubbles and wrinkles, squeegee out all the water from under the film, and wipe the front dry.

Leave it for a few hours: as the water evaporates, the adhesive bonds firmly.
Installation service in Pune: on orders of ₹10,000 + GST and above, our fitters paste the film for you, charged extra and quoted after reviewing the job; on jobs between ₹3,000 and ₹10,000 installation is possible on request at a slightly higher charge.
