• Prismatic films focus reflected light into a tight beam—like a spotlight, making your sign shine bright over long distances. Prismatic films: shine brilliantly from hundreds of feet away; top brands like 3M™ offer up to half a kilometer’s visibility. That’s a big advantage on highways and major roads! This means prismatic films offer much greater range and visibility

4. Angle of Reflection

• Light reflected back from a glass-beaded film spreads in multiple directions, so these signs are visible even when viewed from the sides at an angle
• On the other hand, a Prismatic reflective film bounces back light in a narrow, focused beam. This is great when viewers are directly in front of the sign (like a car approaching a traffic board). This also explains why highway signs look super-bright when your car is facing them, but stop shining as you pass by at an angle.

5. Cutting Shape on Plotter

• Glass bead films are thin and flexible, allowing for easy cutting into any shape—such as circles, letters, or custom decals.
• Prismatic films are thick and multi-layered. It’s nearly impossible to cut these films into intricate shapes using regular plotter machines. Prints from this material are generally square or rectangular in shape.

The base film is only half the story. Your design/image is reproduced at an extremely high resolution on our wide-format UV printer using top-of-the-line UV (Ultraviolet) inks to print out the job. Why is this important?

• Extreme Durability: UV inks are specially made for outdoor use. They’re waterproof, resistant to fading by sunlight, won’t scratch off easily, and can withstand the ever-changing Indian weather—sun, rain, or dust!

The reflective film (with its printed design) comes with an adhesive back, so it can stick on almost any smooth surface. But for most outdoor applications and many indoor uses, our clients prefer a sturdy, rigid sign that can be screwed onto walls or a metal frame. Here’s how we make that happen:
