Stickers aren’t a modern invention. They have been around for decades. However, this doesn’t mean that there has been no innovation with this product. Gone are the days of flat and boring stickers.

This is where our 3D Dome Decals come into the picture.

What are 3D Dome Decals?

Regular stickers/decals look great. However, to take the presentation up a notch, 3D dome stickers work brilliantly. They have a 3D look and feel and are impervious to the elements such as dust, water, sunlight, etc.

This makes them a great branding option when you want to be noticed in a sea of 2D stickers.

How are 3D Dome Decals Made?

3D Dome Decals are made up of two basic components:

• The Base – a highly adhesive vinyl sticker is printed out in the design of your liking. At Orchid Digitals, this is achieved using a Roland Print and Cut machine. At this stage, the stickers are two-dimensional yet vibrant and quite eye-catching.
• The Dome – to add the 3D feel, polyurethane solution is poured on top of the vinyl sticker. This increases the height of the sticker by 2-3 mm. The mass of polyurethane takes a rounded/curvy shape at the edges, forming a dome*.

* Note: Dome labels cannot be created instantaneously. They need to be printed, cut, domed and dried. Ideally, a lead time of a minimum of three days is required to process your order.

What Are the Benefits of 3D Dome Decals?

• Ease of Use: It doesn’t get easier than this. No complicated processes or extensive efforts are required. Just peel and apply!
• Shape No Bar: Your stickers don’t need to be only of the conventional shapes. Avoid incurring the cost of dye punch as our in-line plotter machine cuts the stickers in any shape, exactly as per the provided design.
• No Need of Huge Bulk Orders: Back in the day, dome stickers were screened or offset-printed and had to be ordered in vast quantities. However, thanks to digital printing we can now gladly print orders of as low as 500 stickers.
• Resistant to All Weather Conditions: The polyurethane solution prevents any damage to the sticker from moisture, dust, and even sunlight. Hence, dome decals are quite suitable for product branding. They are extensively used for pasting logos on white goods and consumer durables like mobile phone covers, laptop and vehicle decals, etc.

Applications of 3D Decals:

The 3D Decals are ideal for miniature products, where the intent is to provide specific communication. These stickers can be primarily used for the following:

• Personalized Branding: As a brand, you can display your communication/mark on speakers, keychains, vehicles, trophies, refrigerators, water coolers, mixer grinders, etc. In items that are used so often, this creates a strong brand recall. Also, the dome aspect of the sticker makes the sticker noticeable without being too intrusive.
• Gifting: Dome stickers can also be handed out as memorabilia at events and in exhibitions. Enthusiastic recipients will gladly paste the high end, premium looking stickers at visible locations thereby giving your marketing efforts a boost.

Pricing

Dome stickers are printed on large rolls of vinyl. As such they are not individually processed. We charge Rs 450.00 for doming 1 square foot (12 inches X 12 inches) So if you have a 1 square inch sticker you will get approximately 144 pieces in a square foot. Which means that each sticker will cost Rs.3.00 plus taxes (Rs.450.00 per foot / 144 pieces in a foot).
