The most complex equations, subscripts and the smallest text in your blocks are reproduced with sharp, readable detail.
A wide colour range makes graphs, micrographs and images stand out with a vibrancy that catches the attention of every examiner and invigilator.

Sizes
We print from industrial rolls of photo poster media and fabric that are 3, 4 and 5 feet wide, so almost any size you need is possible, up to 5 x 10 ft. There is no fixed standard for academic posters, but most are designed in one of these sizes, all of which we print every day:
3 x 4 ft, the most common size for research posters in Pune (roughly one square metre); 1 m x 1 m square; and 80 x 120 cm portrait. Custom sizes are welcome: enter your width and height in the calculator above to see the price.
Posters are priced by area: ₹60 per sq ft on photo poster media and ₹100 per sq ft on cloth, plus 18% GST. A 3 x 4 ft poster therefore costs ₹720 + GST on photo media or ₹1,200 + GST on cloth. Smaller sizes such as 1 m x 1 m or 80 x 120 cm are charged by their actual area; if the calculator does not accept your size yet, send us the dimensions on WhatsApp for a quote.
Last-minute deadlines
Research posters are often refined until the very last moment, and we understand that. Our high-capacity production printers run a poster in a few minutes, so a walk-in poster is usually ready in 30-40 minutes while you wait, whenever the machines are free.
Files that reach us before 5 PM can usually be printed the same day. Jobs that come in later normally go into the next working day's queue.
At our Pune shop in Shaniwar Peth a single poster is welcome, printed while you wait and collected on the spot.
The machines always have a queue, so we can't promise an exact time. Rush jobs are moved to the front when the schedule allows; if your viva is tomorrow, tell us when you send the file.
We are closed on Sundays and national holidays, and for a few days around Ganesh Chaturthi and in mid-August.
Quality check
Before your research poster goes into final production, we print a complimentary A3 draft so you can check it. Visit us in person or email your design to start. Although reduced in scale, the draft shows crisp detail and accurate colour, so you can spot a typo, a missing label or a colour problem while there is still time to fix it.
Because your presentation matters, this check costs nothing extra. Once you approve the draft, we print the full poster on the media you chose.

Option 1
If you are presenting in Pune, the thick polyester photo poster media is an excellent choice. It is about 200 microns thick, roughly the thickness of a business card, yet flexible enough to be rolled up and carried in a tube. The top surface has a special coating for high-resolution printing, and the base is a substantial liner.
The liner comes in grey or white, and it is opaque enough to block light from behind, so your images never look faded or "pheeka" when the poster hangs in front of a window or a light. Unlike thin flex or vinyl banners, this sturdy media stays smooth and professional, without wrinkles or creases, when you pin it to the college display board.
Fully matte finish, with no glare under hall lights.
A slight sheen that some people prefer. Same price as grey back; it is only a matter of taste.
Option 2
For a truly sophisticated presentation, choose our cloth fabric. It costs a little more than photo poster media, but it has a smooth, silky texture and an exceptionally premium look. The fabric is a lightweight cotton-polyester blend from renowned mills such as Arvind Mills™, Neo Fabric™ and Senfa Fabric™.
Its biggest advantage is portability. A photo poster has to travel rolled up in a tube; a cloth poster folds into your carry bag. That makes it ideal for students and researchers travelling to distant or outstation venues, and far easier to manage on a flight than a bulky tube.
When you arrive, iron the poster from the reverse side, just like a garment, and it is flat again.

Artwork
Most research posters are designed in PowerPoint. You can send the PowerPoint file, but a PDF is best: it locks the layout and fonts, so the poster is reproduced exactly as you designed it. Our studio also handles all other common formats:

In PowerPoint, change the slide size to your poster's size (for example 36 x 48 in) before you design, not an A4 or widescreen slide. Photos should be at least 72-100 dpi at full size; 300 dpi is ideal.
WhatsApp compresses photos, so a JPG or PNG sent on WhatsApp usually loses resolution. PDFs are not compressed, but email is safest for large files.
We place your file on the chosen size and prepare it for print. We don't create or redesign posters; if you need a designer, we can recommend one in Pune.

Unroll the poster and fix it to the college display board with pins, or with double-sided tape on the corners.

Use the same pins or double-sided tape. If the fabric has creases from travel, iron it from the reverse side first, just as you would a garment, for a smooth, flat, premium finish.
