The slimmest light box we make
An LED slimline frame is an ultra-slim light box with a glass front. LEDs are embedded along the edges of the frame, and a light-guide panel under the glass spreads their light evenly across the entire picture sitting on top. So a logo, a photograph, a menu or a price list glows brightly, with a uniform spread of light and without hot spots or unseemly shadows.
Switched off, it looks like a plain glass panel on the wall. Switch it on, and it becomes the brightest thing in the room. The A1 frame in the photo lights up the waiting room of Dr Purnata's dental clinic in Pune with the doctor's photo, her treatments and QR codes for her social pages.

How it's built
There is no bulky box behind the picture. The LEDs sit along the edges of the slim silver profile and shine sideways into a light-guide panel (LGP), a clear sheet with a fine dotted pattern that catches the light coming in from the edges and turns it into an even glow across the whole face of the panel.
The front of the frame is a glass panel. Your print sits just behind it, on top of the glowing LGP sheet, and is lit from behind. The whole stack, glass included, is under 1 cm thick and sits almost flat against the wall. The illustration shows the five layers pulled apart.
Lay it flat on your palm and you see why we call it slimline: the whole stack, glass front included, is under 10 mm. It weighs little, hangs flat against the wall like a picture, and there is no box sticking out behind it.

Change the message any time
One of the biggest advantages of our lit photo frame is that the communication inside it is never fixed. The frame is a one-time investment; the picture inside it can change as often as your business does. Here is how that works.
Your image or artwork is printed on a specialised material called a translite sheet, a slightly milky film made for backlit displays. It reproduces photographs and logos in extremely high resolution on its front face, and because it lets light through, it carries the glow from behind without washing out the colours.
Hold a translite print in front of any light source and it lights up. So you get a crisp, good-looking print during the day even when the frame is not switched on, and at night, with the LEDs on, the entire print glows brightly and evenly to catch the eye of everyone who walks past. The photo shows an empty frame switched on: the glow is uniform from corner to corner.
We laminate the print as standard. Lamination adds a thin protective layer of clear film on top of the printed image to guard it against dust, water, scratches and everyday wear and tear. So your print keeps looking pristine for years, and it survives being slid in and out of the frame many times over.
The print slides into the frame through a thin slot along the top edge. No screws, no tools, and no taking the frame off the wall. The best part is that you can swap the print as many times as you like to update the communication inside your frame. Watch how it is done in the video.

While the investment in the frame is a one-time thing, the frame keeps telling your clients the newest and latest about your business. Take a restaurant menu: the items and the prices change all the time. That is why one of the biggest uses of this LED photo frame is for menus in cafés, where a brightly glowing menu board pulls the eye and showcases your food in a classy manner, as in the café in the photo. When the menu changes, you simply order a new print and slide it in, in a matter of minutes.
The same goes for every other message. A new offer in your showroom, a new season, a new campaign, or simply a new photograph. And if the frame hangs at home rather than in your office, a wedding picture today can make way for the new family photo next year. All you do is slide the old print out and the new one in. Every frame is priced on its own, so a quote is simply the frames you pick added up, + 18% GST. The one rule to know is our minimum order of ₹3,000 + GST per order.

Mounting and power
Installing the frame is as easy as one, two, three: fix two screws in the wall, hang the frame on them the way you would hang any calendar or photo frame, and switch the power on. Done.
No electrician and no specialised fitter needed. The frame has two slim brackets recessed into its back, each with a screw hole, and comes with a power adapter on about a metre of cable, so you simply plug it into the nearest wall socket.

Drill the wall, fit the plugs and leave the screw heads standing out a few millimetres.

Hook the recessed brackets over the screws; the brackets stay hidden behind the frame.

Indoor use. The frame is single-sided and comes in the silver profile only (black is not available). The LEDs and the adapter carry no warranty.

Custom sizes
The slimline frames come in five factory sizes only. When you need a glowing picture in any other size, from a small wall panel to a whole ceiling, we build a fabric light box to your measurements. Our largest so far is 8 x 8 ft. The video shows one being made.
A fabric light box is a slim aluminium frame, about 65 mm deep (90 mm for a deeper box), filled with LED modules mounted on a rigid back panel. Your artwork is printed with UV inks on a stretch fabric that has a thin silicone strip stitched all round its edge. That strip is pressed into a groove in the frame, which pulls the fabric as tight as the skin on a tabla, so the glowing face is perfectly flat with no frame visible on the front, only a 4 to 5 mm metal edge.
Just like the slimline frame, the box stays and the print changes: pull the old fabric out of the groove, press the new one in. The photo shows one of the two 8 x 8 ft boxes we built into the ceiling of Snowball ice cream parlour in Wakad, lit up on our workshop floor before installation. Design your artwork at the print size of your frame, not the outer size of the frame; the table lists the print size for each of the five frames. We accept all common formats; vector files give the cleanest edges for logos and lettering.
