The ABO Controls logo on the front of their factory shed, built as a two-layer sandwich: a WPC base cut to the shape of the logo and drilled to the shed, with red acrylic cut to the same shape bonded on top, so not a single screw or nail shows.
A logo on a metal factory shed has to be fixed firmly enough for wind and rain. Drilling it on leaves screw heads and nails on the face of the logo, which spoils it.
We cut a WPC sheet to the outline of the ABO logo and drilled it straight onto the shed. That base layer carries all the fixings, and its face showed every screw.
Over it we pasted a sheet of red acrylic cut to exactly the same size and shape, bonded with strong 3M tape and silicone, like a sandwich.
The result is a seamless logo with no nails or screws in sight, and both layers are weatherproof and waterproof for outdoor use.
