A backlit vinyl print for the LED display niche at Augustus, a shoe store in Koregaon Park, and a gold-on-black acrylic logo board to match. The print glows evenly at night and every stitch on the shoe stays sharp.
Augustus has a wooden niche on its store front with LEDs inside and a glass front. They wanted a print that looks good by day, glows strongly and evenly at night, and comes off cleanly when the display changes.
We printed on backlit vinyl. The vinyl lets light through, and so does its glue, which is transparent: ordinary adhesive shows up as smudges and marks once light passes through it.
The result is a strong, uniform glow, and the print is sharp enough that every seam and stitch on the shoe is visible at 6 ft wide.
We also made the store’s logo board: gold acrylic letters and lion laser-cut and set on a black acrylic base plate, held slightly off the wall on stand-off mounts. The store fixed it on the wall with the studs we supplied.
