Canebot’s machine squeezes fresh sugarcane juice on order and cleans itself for the next glass. We printed its four-sided artwork on laminated Wyte polymeric vinyl that lies so flat on the metal panels you can’t tell where the print ends and the machine begins.
Mr Milind Datar’s team at Canebot built a fully automated sugarcane juice vending machine in India, an innovation that earned them the President’s Award for Innovation in Business. It goes into malls, cinemas, schools and colleges. They designed artwork for all four sides in their brand colours, but every vendor they tried offered ordinary vinyl, which looked like a label stuck on a metal box.
We printed the artwork on Wyte polymeric vinyl with a protective laminate. It is outdoor-grade and weatherproof, so it holds up to crowds and to staff wiping the machine down again and again.
The back of the vinyl has tiny air-release channels. When it is pasted on a panel, the air escapes, so it sits flat and close to the metal with no bubbles, wrinkles or creases.
The adhesive is strong and very hard to peel once applied, so corners and edges stay down.
We supplied the print in a roll and Canebot’s team pasted it themselves. The result works like a vehicle wrap, on a vending machine: the artwork looks like part of the machine.
