Image Electricals’ shop front in Wanowrie had grown board by board, and the shop’s own name was the smallest thing on it. We cleared it to one black wall and built a 38 ft lit front with the name as the hero, the brands in lit boxes and round badges, and the AC hidden behind slits. Eighteen months later, the owner called us back for the sales counters.
Thirteen stops, in the order it happened: the old front, the plan, the build, the finished front, and the counters we did a year and a half later.
01 / 13
The shop’s name sat on a short white board in three styles: IMAGE in bold red 3D letters, Electricals in thin black, Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. flat, the Marathi name and GST number in plain vinyl. On either side, angled brand panels were bigger than the name itself. A Schneider flex board sat on top, half hidden, beside the AC’s outdoor unit.
For a big showroom it looked like any small electricals shop. Taher Sehrawala, the owner (in the blue sweater), asked for the whole front to be done up, not just a board.

A sign can only look as good as the wall behind it. So before any sign, the old boards came down and the front, the pillars and a short false ceiling with lights were clad in black ACP, in one level plane.
We recommended Manoj Shukla, an exterior contractor whose work we know, and Taher hired and paid him directly. We only take money for work we answer for.
03 / 13
Our layout is about 38 x 8 ft. IMAGE ELECTRICALS and Taher’s lightning-bolt logo, which we refined, sit large in the middle. His eight main brands go in rectangular boxes on the left, nine more in round badges on the right, and the name in Marathi above the badges, in the same red and white.
04 / 13
Day and night views went with the proposal, drawn on a photo of the shop itself, so Taher could see the new front before anything was made.
05 / 13
The AC’s outdoor unit had to stay, and it has to throw out hot air. So the ACP runs over it too, with vertical slits cut into it. The unit breathes through the slits and the street never sees it. A second slit panel sits on the other side of the name, so the front stays symmetrical.
06 / 13
The name and logo are 2.5 in deep channel letters: aluminium sides, exterior-grade acrylic faces in white and red, LEDs inside, so they glow from the front, not the sides. Each brand logo is UV-printed on top of its own 2.5 in deep acrylic box, with LEDs inside.

We fitted it all from bamboo scaffolding. These photos are from 27 February 2025, the evening the lights first came on: eight brand boxes on the left, the Marathi name and nine badges on the right.
08 / 13
From the road the name reads first, then the brands. At night the whole front glows in cool white and red against the black.
Shop front: ₹1,64,318 + GST, February 2025, including fabrication, transport and installation. The ACP cladding was a separate contract.

The sample geysers and heaters hanging on the pillars went too. In their place: our prints of the brands’ fans, heaters and exhaust fans, in white clip-on frames that Taher bought locally.
10 / 13
In 2026 Taher called again. The two counters at the entrance each carried one brand, and their letters were broken and dim. The shop sits a few steps above the road, so people read those counters as they climb the stairs.
We repeated the front’s look: nine brand boxes on the left counter (115 x 43 in), the shop’s logo and twelve badges on the right one (125 x 43 in).
11 / 13
Each logo box is cut, printed and wired on its own, and the whole board is tested on our floor before it leaves. 276 LEDs on two 400 W power supplies light the left counter, 248 LEDs the right one.
12 / 13
Both counters went in on 13 August 2026.
Counter boards and details board: about ₹1,08,000 + GST, August 2026.
13 / 13
With the counters came a 2 x 4 ft acrylic board on a side pillar, not lit, carrying the details a shop has to display: its registered name in Marathi, address, GST number, days and hours, phone and email.
Image Electricals is a large electricals showroom in Wanowrie, a few steps above a busy road. Its front had too many boards in too many styles: a small name board, brand panels for Polycab and Legrand bigger than the shop’s own name, a Schneider flex board on top, the AC’s outdoor unit in full view and sample geysers hanging on the pillars. The owner, Taher Sehrawala, did not want just a new board. He wanted the whole front to look like one classy showroom.
First, a blank slate. On our advice the old boards came down, and the front, the pillars and a short lit false ceiling were clad in black ACP by Manoj Shukla, an exterior contractor we recommended. Taher hired and paid him directly.
On that wall, a 38 x 8 ft front: IMAGE ELECTRICALS and Taher’s lightning-bolt logo (which we refined) as 2.5 in deep 3D LED channel letters in the middle, eight main brands in lit rectangular boxes on the left, nine more as lit round badges on the right, and the shop’s name in Marathi above them. Each brand box is a 2.5 in deep acrylic box with LEDs inside and the logo UV-printed on top.
The AC stayed but disappeared: the ACP over it has vertical slits so the outdoor unit can still breathe and throw out hot air. The sample geysers on the pillars were replaced with our prints of the brands’ products, in frames Taher bought.
In August 2026 we came back for the two counters at the entrance: nine brand boxes on one, the shop’s logo and twelve brand badges on the other, both lit, plus a small acrylic board on a pillar with the GST number, address and shop timings.
On this page: the photos are real job photos, only light and colour corrected (the GST number is blurred). The finished front photos were shared on Google. The drawings marked “proposal” are from our proposals to the client.
