A logo that grows out of the wall
Miss Girija is a chef who teaches cooking. Her studio in Pune is the kind of room that makes you want to take your shoes off at the door: soft sage-green walls, warm sconces, a wooden shelf, sheer curtains.
The only thing missing was her logo. And she had one rule: no base plate.

The problem
Every quote came with a base plate
She called sign makers, and every one of them gave her the same answer: we'll assemble your logo on a panel and stick the panel on your wall.
Her Table: a teaching studio, designed to feel personal, not commercial.
Fine for a shop. But this is a room where people come to learn to cook. A panel on that wall would have been the signage version of serving biryani in a steel tiffin: perfectly functional, not what you put out when guests are coming.

The first surprise
Her logo came from ChatGPT
The logo she sent us was an AI-generated picture. Lovely on a screen. But a laser can't cut a picture: it needs a vector file, from CorelDRAW or Illustrator, that tells it exactly where every edge is.
So we redrew her whole logo in CorelDRAW, line by line. Only the tiny gold leaves didn't make the cut. They were too fine to cut cleanly, so they stayed on the screen.

Our answer
Two layers, zero visible screws
Here's the trick. Every letter is cut twice: once in black acrylic and once in brushed gold acrylic.
The black layer is screwed straight into the wall, so it's never coming off. Then the gold layer goes on top with an extremely strong double-sided tape and hides the screw completely. As strong as a drill fitting, as clean as a sticker.
Never falls off
The base layer is screwed into the wall, not just stuck on.
Nothing to see
The gold face hides every screw. No nails, no plate, no frame.
The letters sit flush on the wall, as if they were rising straight out of it.
The second trick
A stencil, not an eyeball
Most fitters stick letters up by eye. We cut a stencil on our laser in the exact shape of the whole logo.
On site, the stencil goes up first, perfectly level, and every letter drops into its own cut-out. Once they're all in, the stencil comes off and goes in the bin. Every piece lands exactly where it belongs, every time.
How we made it

One stencil in the exact shape of the logo, monogram, ring and lettering together.

Stencil up and level, base letters screwed in, gold faces pressed on, stencil off.

A brushed, matt finish
The gold acrylic has a brushed, matt finish, not a mirror shine. Here its protective film is coming off. Against sage green it looks warm and quietly classy rather than flashy.

How a stencil install looks

Outside the door
Kitchen Confidence, by Her Table
Kitchen Confidence is the name of her company. Her Table is how she brands herself. So her entrance got a second sign: a classic nameplate in matte black acrylic with the same brushed gold letters, carrying both names.

What a logo like this costs
Acrylic letters fixed straight on the wall start at ₹800 per sq ft + 18% GST, with the smallest logo billed as 3 x 2 ft. That's ₹4,800 + GST for a logo Her Table's size.
Her Table came to ₹8,000 + GST for the wall logo and ₹2,000 + GST for the nameplate, because each was a bundled price: redrawing her logo for the laser, and our team travelling across Pune to install both pieces. This one was quoted as a single price.

The happy ending
Her wall, her logo, nothing in between
The wall now looks exactly like the brief: a gold HT monogram and the words Supper Club rising straight off a sage-green wall, lit by the sconces on either side, with no panel in sight.
The easy version of this job was on offer from everyone else. The better version needed a redrawn logo, two layers where most use one, and a stencil where most use their eyes. That's the kind of job we like best.
