Removable signs
Our magnetic prints also work as temporary signboards. Stick them on any flat steel surface, peel them off when they are no longer needed, and put them back whenever you want to show that information again. No glue, no marks, no waiting.
A real example: a car-rental client of ours uses them to show their customers' company logos. When a car is assigned to a firm, that firm's logo goes on the door. If the same car is hired by a different company the next day, the old logo comes off and the new one goes on. A car rented to Tata carries a Tata magnetic sign; once that rental ends and the car goes to Infosys, the sign is simply swapped for an Infosys logo.

The base material
Our custom fridge magnets are made on plastoferrite sheet. As the name suggests, it is a special blend of magnetised iron and a protective plastic, flexible enough to cut cleanly and strong enough to hold firmly.
We use sheets 1.5 mm thick, and that thickness matters: a thicker magnetic base gives a much stronger hold. The whole back of every magnet is magnetic, not just a small spot, so it lies flat and grips across its entire surface.

Your artwork or photos are printed on a vinyl top layer on our Konica Minolta 3080 digital colour press, in four-colour CMYK at high resolution. Every fine detail of your design is reproduced with clarity, and the colours come out vibrant enough to catch the eye of anyone who walks past the fridge.
Each print is then laminated: a thin, clear protective film that guards against dust, water, scratches and the rough and tumble of daily use, so your magnets keep looking new for years. The laminated print is then pasted onto the 1.5 mm magnetic sheet.

How we make them
We don't print magnets one at a time. Your artwork is laid out as a grid of copies on a larger sheet, printed, laminated, mounted on the magnet and then cut into individual pieces. That is what keeps the cost per magnet low and every piece identical.

Pricing
Fridge magnets are priced by area: ₹500 per square foot of printed magnet + 18% GST. Your magnets are laid out on sheets of 12 x 12 inches (one square foot), so the smaller your magnet, the more copies fit and the less each piece costs.
Take a magnet with 2 x 3 inch artwork. Six columns of 2 inches fit across 12 inches, and four rows of 3 inches fit down 12 inches: 6 x 4 = 24 magnets per square foot. So each magnet costs ₹500 ÷ 24 = ₹20.83 + GST. After cutting, a 2 x 3 inch artwork gives a finished magnet of about 1.85 x 2.85 inches.

Each magnet has two layers: a vinyl top layer printed with your design and laminated, pasted onto a 1.5 mm thick plastoferrite magnetic sheet (a blend of plastic and magnetised iron). The whole back of the magnet is magnetic.
Very strong. Many printers use magnetic sheets only 0.5 mm or 1 mm thick, and a thinner sheet makes a weaker magnet. Our 1.5 mm sheet holds so firmly that it takes real effort to pull the magnet off the fridge.
Every magnet is laminated, which protects the print from dust, scratches, water and everyday wear and tear. Kept on a fridge or other indoor surface, they last for years.
Both protect the print equally. Matt gives a soft, non-reflective look that is easy to read under kitchen lights; gloss adds shine and makes colours pop. Tell us your choice with your order.
