Why paper labels let you down
Paper stickers are excellent for many everyday uses. Their one weakness is the paper itself: the moment it meets water, oil or the damp air inside a refrigerator, it soaks it up, wrinkles, tears and smudges. A label like that makes a good product look neglected.
Our non-tearable NT plastic stickers are the durable alternative. NT stickers are made for indoor products and packaging. For labels that will face sun and rain outdoors, choose our laminated vinyl stickers, printed with weatherproof inks.
Laminated NT stickers
Lamination adds a clear 30-micron plastic film directly over the printed image. It greatly extends the life of the label by shielding the print against dust, water, scratches and daily wear, which makes it the right choice for food containers that are washed, refrigerated or handled again and again.
Lamination also changes the look. A gloss film makes colours deeper and livelier; a matte film gives a soft, understated finish. Both films cost the same, so you can pick the one that suits your brand.

How it's made
We don't print labels one at a time. To keep the cost per label low, we arrange copies of your artwork in rows and columns on a large production sheet, 12 inches wide by 18 inches high (clients often call it an A3 or A3+ sheet).
For example, a 2 x 3 inch label fits 6 columns by 6 rows: 36 labels on one sheet. The printed sheets are then cut into individual labels and stacked, ready to use.

Square and rectangular labels are cut edge to edge with straight 90-degree corners. The bleed is kept inside your artwork, so the finished label comes out very slightly smaller than the size ordered.
Cutting options
By default your NT stickers are cut into individual square or rectangular labels. Two other finishes are available on request:
Individual square or rectangular labels with sharp corners, stacked and ready to peel. Included in the sheet price.
Only the top plastic layer is cut and the release paper stays whole, so you receive full sheets with separate labels that peel off easily. Charged extra; ask us for the rate.
Labels cut to follow the outline of your artwork, or with rounded corners. Kiss-cutting is an extra operation, quoted per job; it needs a small gap between labels, so fewer fit on a sheet. See our custom shape kiss-cut stickers.
Pricing
Sticker makers like us sell full sheets, each holding many labels. To find the cost of one label, divide the price of the sheet by the number of labels that fit on it. The smaller your label, the more fit on a sheet, and the less each one costs.
For laminated stickers the sum works the same way: a 3 x 3 inch label on a ₹50 sheet fits 4 columns by 6 rows, or 24 labels, so each label costs ₹50 ÷ 24 = about ₹2.08 + GST. Enter your own label size in the calculator at the top of this page to see how many fit and what each costs.

How to use
Applying NT stickers takes seconds: just peel and stick. Because the adhesive bonds straight away, there is no curing time, and your products are ready to pack and dispatch as soon as the label is on.

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust and grease.

Peel the label off its backing and place it where you want it.

Hold the label slightly stretched as you smooth it down from one side, to avoid wrinkles and creases.

Press the whole label down once. It bonds immediately.

Set up the artwork at the exact size of one label, for example 2 x 3 inches. We do the sheet layout.
The bleed stays inside your artwork and the label is trimmed very slightly, so leave a small margin around text and logos.
Use images of 300 dpi or more and send the original design file if you can, so small text stays sharp.

NT stands for non-tearable. NT stickers are printed on a 100-micron synthetic plastic sheet instead of paper, with a strong hot-melt adhesive on the back. They don't tear by hand, don't absorb water and don't wrinkle, which makes them ideal for products that get wet, oily or refrigerated.
The plastic sheet doesn't absorb water, so NT stickers survive fridge moisture, splashes and spills that ruin paper labels. For labels on containers that are washed or handled every day, choose the laminated variant: the film protects the print against water, scratches and wear.

Both cost the same. Gloss makes colours deeper and brighter; matte gives a soft, understated look and no glare. The plain (unlaminated) NT sticker has a matte finish.
