Stop settling for dull labels
A home inkjet or office printer can manage a few quick sheets of labels, but the prints are low in resolution, the colours are flat, and ink and label paper make every sheet expensive. As soon as you need labels in hundreds or thousands, it is far more efficient to have them made on an industrial press.
At Orchid Digitals, we print your sticker labels on an industrial-grade digital press, on glossy mirrorcote sticker paper with a strong adhesive. The result: labels in very high resolution and vibrant colour that look far more polished than office prints, and that make even plain packaging look retail-ready.
Why a professional print shop
Working with a professional print shop on your sticker printing brings four clear advantages. Our Konica Minolta 3080 colour digital press prints at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (3,600 dpi equivalent) in CMYK, so fine text, barcodes and product photos come out crisp, and your colours stay bright and true.
Small print, ingredient lists, barcodes and logos reproduced with remarkable clarity.
The mirrorcote paper gives your labels the glossy shine people expect from professionally made products.
All of this comes at a price per label that home printing can't match: ink and sticker paper for an office printer often cost more than a professionally printed label.
Choose your finish
Both variants use the same glossy mirrorcote paper and the same printing. The difference is a clear protective film on top. Choose your variant in the calculator at the top of this page; prices are per 12 x 18 in sheet and exclude 18% GST.
₹30 per sheet + GST
The standard glossy paper sticker. It suits most labelling: retail products, packaging, cartons and dry indoor use, at our most economical price.
Glossy mirrorcote finish straight off the press
Best for dry products, boxes, bags and cartons
₹40 per sheet + GST
A 30-micron lamination film over the print protects it from dust, scratches, splashes, humidity and daily handling, and gives the label a richer, more finished look.
Matte or gloss film, at the same price
Splash-resistant: ideal for products that are handled often
Labels that will get properly wet (chilled or refrigerated products, bottles, anything washed or kept in water) need a plastic sticker, because paper absorbs water at the edges. For those, choose our non-tearable NT plastic stickers or transparent stickers.
How it's made
To keep your cost per label low, we don't print labels one by one. We arrange your artwork as an assembly of many labels on a large sheet measuring 12 inches wide by 18 inches high (often called A3 or A3+).
For example, a label of 2 x 3 inches fits 36 times on one sheet, in six columns and six rows. The printed sheet is then cut into individual labels, which are stacked and packed for you. Because the bleed is kept inside your artwork, each finished label comes out very slightly smaller than the size you ordered.
1
Email us your design at the final label size. We check it and set it up for the press.
2
Your label is repeated across the 12 x 18 in sheet to fit as many as possible, turned either way.
3
Printed in CMYK on our Konica Minolta digital press at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (3,600 dpi equivalent).
4
Matte or gloss film for the laminated variant.
5
The sheets are cut into individual square or rectangular labels with straight 90-degree corners, and stacked.
6
Before your labels leave, we send you a short video of the finished job.
Finishing options
By default your labels are cut into individual pieces and stacked. If you would rather receive full sheets with labels that peel off one by one, we can half-cut them: only the top sticker layer is cut, and the release paper underneath stays whole. Half-cut sheets are quick to peel and easy to hand out.
Need stickers that follow the outline of your design, or labels with rounded corners? That is kiss-cutting (shape cutting), done on a cutting machine after printing.
Half-cutting, rounded corners and shape cutting are extra operations, charged on top of the sheet price. The price is on request: send us your artwork and we'll quote it.
Pricing
Industrial sticker printers sell full sheets holding many labels, so the price is per sheet. To find your cost per label, divide the sheet price by the number of labels that fit on one sheet. The calculator at the top of this page does this for you: choose your variant, enter your label size, and it shows the labels per sheet and the cost per label.
Take a label of 3 x 3 inches: 12 ÷ 3 gives 4 columns and 18 ÷ 3 gives 6 rows, so 24 labels fit on a sheet. On the laminated variant at ₹40 a sheet, that is ₹40 ÷ 24 = about ₹1.67 per label + GST.

Need more? 5,000 labels of 2 x 3 inches need 139 sheets, rounded up to 140 (orders go in steps of 5 sheets): ₹4,200 + GST on plain mirrorcote. Smaller labels mean more per sheet, and a lower cost per label.
Good to know
₹3,000 + GST per order: 100 sheets of 12 x 18 in for plain mirrorcote (₹30 a sheet) or 75 sheets laminated (₹40 a sheet), then in steps of 5 sheets. We don’t print single labels or a few sheets.
Several designs can share the minimum order; each design fills whole sheets (for example 50 sheets of one label and 50 of another).
Typically 1-2 days after artwork approval and payment, because every job goes through two steps: printing, then cutting. Allow a few extra days if other jobs are in the queue; rush jobs can be moved up when the schedule allows. We don't promise an arrival date.
Free delivery across India. In Pune our team hand-delivers, usually within 2-3 days; outstation parcels go by courier, typically 3-5 working days to metro cities and 5-7 elsewhere. In a hurry? Collect your labels from our shop in Shaniwar Peth, Pune.
Applications
Paper stickers combine an attractive glossy look with a cost per label of only a few rupees, which makes them one of the most versatile labelling options. Our clients use them for:
Labels that turn plain jars, tins, boxes and pouches into branded, shelf-ready products.
Labels for beauty products, candles, soaps and artisan products sold at stores and fairs.
Sender and address labels for parcels, cartons and courier packets.
Indoor caution, handling and warning labels on equipment, cartons and shelves.
Artwork
A good file gives a crisp label. We work with almost any common file format; a high-resolution PDF or the original design file is best.

Set your artboard to the exact label size, e.g. 2 x 3 inches. We repeat it across the sheet for you.
The bleed is trimmed inside your artwork, so keep important text and logos a little away from the edge.
Before printing we send you a proof on WhatsApp. Please check spellings and details carefully: we print what you approve.
Easy to use
Applying our labels is simple: peel and stick. A few small steps give a smooth, professional finish every time.
1
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
2
Peel the label off its release paper, holding it by the edges.
3
Hold the label slightly taut as you place it, so no wrinkles or creases form.
4
Press it down from the centre outwards. The bond forms immediately, with no curing time: your product is ready to dispatch.
The full sticker range
Paper stickers are our most economical labels for dry indoor use. When a label has to survive water, look invisible, shine or stand out, choose from the rest of our range, or see the full guide on our stickers and labels page.
Water-resistant synthetic labels for bottles, chilled products and items handled often. See NT plastic stickers.
Metallic-finish labels for seals, gift packs and special editions. See metallic stickers.
Raised-effect logo stickers that you can feel. See 3D embossed stickers.
FAQs
Mirrorcote (also called chromo) is a glossy coated sticker paper. Ours is 100 GSM, with a high-tack hot-melt adhesive on the back and a sturdy 130 GSM release liner. It gives a shiny, professional label at the lowest cost per label in our range. Our guide to choosing the right paper explains how it compares with other papers.
₹3,000 + GST per order: 100 sheets of 12 x 18 inches for plain mirrorcote stickers (₹30 a sheet) or 75 sheets laminated (₹40 a sheet), then in steps of 5 sheets. How many labels that gives depends on your label size; a 2 x 3 inch label gives 3,600 labels on 100 plain sheets.
Yes. Several designs can share the minimum order; each design fills whole sheets. For example, 50 sheets of one label and 50 sheets of another.
Divide the sheet price by the number of labels per sheet. A 2 x 3 inch label fits 36 times on a sheet, so at ₹30 a sheet it costs about ₹0.83 + GST. The calculator at the top of this page works it out for your size.
No. Plain paper stickers are for dry, indoor use. The laminated variant protects the print from splashes, humidity and scratches, but paper still absorbs water at the edges. For wet, chilled or bottled products, choose NT plastic stickers or transparent stickers.
Gloss makes colours pop and matches the shine of the paper; matte gives a soft, glare-free, understated look. Both cost the same.
Yes, as an extra operation. Shape cutting and rounded corners are done by kiss-cutting on a cutting machine. We can also half-cut square labels, so you receive full sheets with labels that peel off one by one. These cost extra; the price is on request.
Square and rectangular labels are laid out edge to edge on the sheet, with the bleed kept inside your artwork. When the sheet is cut, the bleed is trimmed off, so each label is very slightly smaller than ordered. Keep important text a little away from the edges.
No. We don't design labels from scratch; the artwork comes from your side and we prepare it for printing. If you need a designer, we're happy to recommend one in Pune.
Typically 1-2 days after artwork approval and payment, plus queue time if the machines are busy; we don't promise dates. Delivery is free across India: hand delivery in Pune, courier elsewhere. Urgent orders can be collected from our shop in Shaniwar Peth, Pune.
All prices exclude 18% GST. Once we have checked your artwork, our accounts team sends a pro-forma invoice with a payment link; pay by UPI or bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS). Production starts once payment is received. Share your GSTIN if you want it on the invoice for input credit.
